Description
This fractal is dedicated to my Mom. She loved the color red. She worked as a Registered Physical Therapist for 50 plus years. Mom was the hardest working person I ever knew and was dedicated to helping people. She was diagnosed with AML (Leukemia) in May of 2008. Her Leukemia, as explained to me by her doctor, was characterized by the bone marrow's overproduction of large, thick, immature white blood cells. This image is what Leukemia looks like to me. Mom had a beautiful spirit filled with love, generosity and kindness. She lost the battle in July of 2008. I loved her dearly and I miss her daily. My heart goes out to all the patients and families dealing with this tragic disease.

Your art is beautiful and so is your story. I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom; but, it's clearly evident that she is still with you when you make your art. Stunning work!

this is a beautiful image on its own, but your description makes it much more meaningful. I really love the implied depth and subtlety...
